April 8, 2026The National Press Club Journalism Awards 2026 are now open for entries, inviting journalists, media organisations, and newsrooms from around the world to submit work for recognition in a range of categories highlighting outstanding reporting and storytelling. Hosted by the National Press Club (NPC) in Washington, D.C., the awards honour excellence in print, broadcast, digital, and multimedia journalism that exemplifies high standards of accuracy, fairness, and public service.
The awards programme recognises work published or broadcast in 2025, with categories covering investigative reporting, feature writing, political coverage, international reporting, sports journalism, photojournalism, and new media storytelling. Winners are selected by independent panels of experienced journalists, editors, and media academics, and will be celebrated during a ceremony and gala event in Washington, D.C., later in 2026.
