April 8, 2026The Festival Gabo 2026 is scheduled to take place 23–26 July 2026 in Bogotá, Colombia, serving once again as a major gathering for journalists, storytellers, academics, artists, and citizens to explore the craft and impact of journalism and narrative culture. Organized by the Fundación Gabo, the event is recognized as one of the most important Ibero‑American platforms for discussions on press freedom, storytelling, ethics, and media innovation.
The festival’s programming typically includes talks, panel discussions, workshops, masterclasses, exhibitions, podcasts, audiovisual projections, and cultural experiences, all aimed at inspiring deeper reflection on journalism’s role in society and strengthening narrative skills across formats. Participants are invited to propose sessions, and the lineup is expected to unite media professionals and cultural figures from across Latin America and beyond to engage on key topics such as misinformation, digital transformation, narrative ethics, and civic engagement.
