On March 09, 2026, Palestinian journalist Amal, a correspondent for Qatar Radio, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza. She had also worked with several Arab and local media outlets.
This Month
American journalist and filmmaker Brent Renaud was killed on March 13, 2022, while reporting in Irpin, Ukraine, during Russia’s invasion. He was documenting civilians fleeing the conflict when his vehicle came under fire. After his death, a documentary film about his life and work was released, honoring his commitment to storytelling and conflict reporting. The film has been nominated for an Oscar.
