India’s Punjab and Haryana High Court acquitted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in the 2002 murder of journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati, overturning a 2019 life sentence issued by a special CBI court. Chhatrapati, editor of Poora Sach, had reported on sexual abuse allegations against Ram Rahim at his Dera Sacha Sauda sect.
