Four Al Jazeera Journalists Assassinated in Targeted Israeli Airstrike
On August 10, 2025, an Israeli airstrike struck a tent designated for journalists just outside Gaza City’s main Al‑Shifa Hospital, assassinating Al Jazeera journalists Anas Al-Sharif, Mohammed Qreiqeh, Ibrahim Zaher, and Mohammed Noufal.
Al Jazeera Media Network and press freedom organizations condemned the strike as a “premeditated assassination”, alleging it was an intentional attack on journalism.
