Miroslava was shot eight times by a gunman at the intersection of Rio Aros and Jose Msaria Mata as she drove her Renault Duster SUV away from her home in the Granjas neighborhood, Chihuahua City, to take her 14-year-old son to school. The perpetrators had shot her with 9mm rounds.

Proof of Targeting the Journalist: “Breach had previously accused schultz of protecting Los Solazres, and he did not help with his case when he delivered the audiotapes to Los Solazares to clear his name. the tape was presented as evidence as the hearing of Juan Carlos Moreno Ochoa, captured on the 25th of December 2017 in Bcaobampo, Sonora, for his role in Breach’s murder, and the prosecutors established that he oversaw the murder, committed by Ramon Andres SZavala Corral, who killed himself near chinipas on 19 December. It is believed that Moreno Ochoa had planned on killing Breach as a birthday gift for Adan Solazar Zamorano, leader of Los Salazares.”
Reason for Killing: Miroslava Breach was assassinated due to her Journalistic Investigations, ruled the federal judge Nelson Pedraza, who issued on Aug. 21 a 50-year prison sentence for one of the material co-perpetrators of the murder, Juan Carlos Moreno Ochoa.
Progress of the Case: A federal judge sentenced Juan Carlos “EL Larry” to 50 years in prison, the intellectual responsible for the murder of journalist Miroslava Breach Velducea in the city of Chihuahua, the judge sentenced the only person charged with the crime for 50 years, who is the mastermind behind the murder of the journalist that occurred on March 23, 2017. On March 19, federal judge Nestor Pedraza found “El Larry” guilty of co-authorship of the homicide, and on August 22, he was sentenced to half a century in prison. During the trial, 50 people testified, along with expert and documentary evidence, about how the criminals planned and executed the deadly attack.
