A Turning Point USA (TPUSA) contributor and independent journalist, Savanah Hernandez, was assaulted while reporting at an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis, an incident that has triggered arrests and prompted a federal civil rights investigation.
The attack occurred outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building, where Hernandez was documenting demonstrators opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. According to multiple reports and video footage, she was initially filming without interference before being identified by protesters, after which a confrontation escalated into physical violence.
Hernandez said she was verbally confronted, shoved, and then attacked as she attempted to leave the scene.
