European Palestinian Network Conference 2026: Event Announcement
February 1, 2026Global Conference on Media, Communication and Film to Take Place in London
February 1, 2026The International Conference on Journalism and Mass Communication (ICJMC) 2026 is part of a broad series of events scheduled across many countries this year, offering scholars, educators, media professionals, and researchers a range of venues to present work and engage with developments in the field of journalism and communication studies. The programme is organised by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET) and will take place in multiple global cities throughout March and beyond.
The ICJMC series spans North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania, with events taking place both before and after the Doha conference dates. In March 2026, in addition to the Doha session on March 9-10, parallel digital conferences are scheduled in cities including Bangkok (Thailand), London (United Kingdom), Miami (USA), Hanoi (Vietnam), and Melbourne (Australia). Continuing in March, further editions are planned in Prague (Czech Republic), Istanbul (Turkey), New York (USA), and locations such as Brussels (Belgium), Kuwait City (Kuwait), Las Vegas (USA), and Ottawa (Canada).
These events offer flexible digital presentation formats, with opportunities to submit abstracts, participate in academic exchange sessions, and disseminate research findings. Early submission deadlines and acceptance notifications vary by city but generally occur in January or February 2026 ahead of each conference date.
Beyond the March cycle, the ICJMC series continues in other months as well, with additional gatherings in locations such as Istanbul, Barcelona, Belgrade, Tokyo, Batumi, Melbourne, and New York identified for May and beyond, further expanding the reach of the journalism and mass communication research community throughout the year.
These distributed events are structured to help participants connect globally while fostering local scholarship and dialogue on media trends, communication research, digital media ethics, and contemporary challenges facing journalists and communication practitioners worldwide. The multi-city approach allows more researchers and professionals to take part in international academic exchange without the need to travel far from their home regions.
The series reflects an expansive agenda that highlights the global nature of communication research and encourages cross-national collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout 2026.
