Journalism and Mass Communication Conference Expands to Multiple Global Cities
February 1, 2026The European Palestinian Network Conference 2026 is set to take place on January 31, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark, offering a full-day gathering dedicated to advancing dialogue, solidarity, and shared strategies on issues related to Palestinian freedom, rights, and justice. The conference — hosted by the European Palestinian Network — is planned as a forum that brings together activists, scholars, journalists, policymakers, and civil society actors from across Europe and beyond to exchange perspectives, deepen understanding, and explore collaborative solutions.
The event will run from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Imperial venue in Copenhagen, with doors opening from 10:00 AM for registration and informal networking. Attendees will have access to keynote speeches, panel discussions, cultural showcases, and interactive workshops on topics ranging from legal frameworks and cultural documentation to education, sports engagement, media communication strategies, and political advocacy. Ticket holders can expect a mix of presentations, discussions, and cultural experiences designed to foster community engagement and cross-border exchange.
Organisers emphasise that the conference is intended to provide a space for meaningful dialogue on the historical, political, and human rights dimensions of the Palestinian situation, while also connecting attendees to a wider network of organisations and initiatives committed to similar goals. Workshops planned for the day will explore documentation of hate speech and discriminatory incidents, creative cultural expression, educational resource development, and strategies for strengthening public engagement through sport and digital media.
Previous editions of the event have featured prominent international voices, including academics, human rights representatives, journalists, and policymakers, who shared insights and reflections on ongoing challenges and pathways toward justice and accountability. This year’s edition is expected to build on those foundations by expanding debate and reinforcing transnational solidarity.
Tickets are available for purchase through the event’s official website, with registration confirmed by name; the price is set at 300 DKK (approximately 40 Euros), and includes access to all sessions and networking opportunities. The conference will be conducted primarily in English, with information for translation options available as needed.
The European Palestinian Network Conference 2026 aims to unite diverse communities around shared principles of human rights and justice, creating a platform for learning, networking, and constructive action.
